Canada's Most Celebrated Gem and Mineral Show   

Celebrate the wonders in Bancroft, Canada’s Mineral Capital! The event brings together over 100 dealers of fine mineral specimens, gemstone jewellery, and lapidary supplies. 

Held at Two Venues & Outdoor Area
Bancroft Curling Club & North Hastings Community Centre.

Shuttle Service: Travel safely between the North Hastings Community Centre and the Bancroft Curling Club by taking the shuttle provided by Bancroft Community Transit. The shuttle runs continuously during the hours of the Gemboree.

Fun for all ages: There are exhibits of minerals, crystals, gems, fossils, you can shop for one-of-a-kind jewellery and art pieces or find that perfect addition to your own collection!

Activities such as key note speakers, demonstrations and workshops.

There is a "NO PETS" Policy at the Rockhound Gemboree

Local kennels offer a healthy, economical alternative for Gemboree attendees. For more information on prices and availability, please contact the kennel directly.

The Dog Park is conveniently located on Newkirk Boulevard, directly beside the North Hastings Community Centre. It is a leash-free dog park which is a great place to let your pet run freely and enjoy the outdoors! Pets are not to be left in the park unattended!

Please do not keep animals in the vehicle. The grounds and parking sites are patrolled and will be reported to authorities.

Service Animals

The Rockhound Gemboree welcomes service animals.

According to the AODA’s Customer Service Standards, one of two conditions must apply for your animal to be considered a service animal:

1. the animal is easily identifiable as relating to your disability (for example, it is a guide dog or other animal wearing a vest or harness)

2. you can provide documentation from a regulated health professional confirming the animal is required due to a disability

• Sunday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Bancroft Curling Club: 

• Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm ( Early Bird Admission )

• Sunday: 9:30 am - 5:00 pm ( Early Bird Admission )

Admission:

Purchase your wristband at the entrances to either the Arena or the Curling Club indoor venues. Your wristband will give you access for all 3 Venues (Arena, Outside Arena, & Curling Club)!

About the Gem & Mineral Vendors:

Vendors at the Rockhound Gemboree showcase various items. Each vendor has different preferences for payment, however there will be an ATM machine available on site for visitors to use.
